Matalan Style Contest at the John Smith's Grand National

The winner of the 2012 Matalan Style Contest was Kelly Platt from Hunts Cross, Liverpool.

The winning outfit consisted of a a Black Vintage Dress, Topshop shoes and a spectacular hat handmade by her friend.

Kelly was picked for her unique raceday style by a panel of fashion experts. She scooped:

• £5,000 cash,
• The chance to feature in a Matalan photoshoot, including £500 to spend in store;
• A £500 totepool bet on the John Smith's Grand National;
• £500 worth of Benefit treats!
