With the recent addition of Paddock Lodge, the home of the original racecourse owners, to Aintree's potfolio of facilities available to hire, Aintree is now the most special and memorable location to hold smaller, more intimate family celebrations.

For bigger parties and corporate dinners, there is no other venue in Liverpool as steeped in history and unique heritage than Aintree Racecourse.

Our Suites

Princess Royal Stand 

This is the most versatile stand at Aintree for all kinds of conferences and events. Apart from its suites and syndicate rooms, which can accommodate upto 350 business delegates for conferences, it has a 700sqm exhibition hall with vehicle access and space for 40 exhibitors' stands.

One of the features of the Merryman Suite of boxes is that thanks to sound-proof room divisions, the set up is almost infinitely variable, and able to provide conference rooms with a real grandstand view for everything from 10 to 200 people. Contact us to Find out More

Princess Royal Suite

Situated on the 4th floor within this grandstand this is a versatile suite with a sound proof partition allowing two different events to take place at one time. This conference room enjoys stunning views of the racecourse with natural daylight and blackout facilities. Capacities of up to 350 delegates.

Merryman Boxes

Situated on the 3rd floor within the Princess Royal grandstand - 14 boxes in total, with capacities of up to 15 delegates in each, 10 of which can be opened into one suite allowing stunning views of the racecourse, 4 having views over the rear of the grandstand. All boxes enjoy natural daylight and blackout facilities as well as sound proof partitions allowing variable interconnecting boxes subject to your individual needs. These boxes are licensed to hold a civil wedding ceremony.

Wallis Suite

Situated on the second floor of the Princess Royal grandstand. This room proves to be very functional with a number of uses from catering venue to exhibitions to run alongside conferences taking place in the Princess Royal Suite, as well as a stand alone conference room. Balcony access allowing racecourse viewing.

Exhibition Hall

Situated on the ground floor of the Princess Royal grandstand, this is ideal for conferences who may require a large exhibition space within a short walk from the main conference room, with vehicular access available and room for 40 exhibition stands.

Queen Mother Stand

For many people, this Stand is the most recognisable 'face' of Aintree. Since opening in 1991 this is the most intimate of our stands and has been a favourite for wedding parties as well as formal and informal meetings and conferences. The 17 boxes give a fantastic view of the racecourse, and offer the perfect setting for smaller gatherings, while the suites can accommodate upto 200 delegates. Contact us to Find Out More

Devonloch and Monaveen Boxes

Situated over the third and first floors in the Queen Mother stand - 17 boxes in total, some with the capacity to open into double boxes to accommodate up to 40 delegates in each. All boxes give a fantastic view of the racecourse and in particular that all important 'winning post' and offer the perfect setting for smaller gatherings and breakout rooms.

Bechers Suite

Situated on the second floor of the Queen Mother stand it is the most intimate of our suites allowing balcony access to the racecourse and 'winning post'. A popular venue for the intimate wedding breakfast but also popular with conference delegates.

Valentines Suite

Situated on the ground floor of the Queen Mother stand it is the larger of the rooms within this stand with capacities of up to 200 delegates. Balcony access to the racecourse. A favourite with wedding parties as well as formal and informal meetings and conferences.

Earl of Derby and Lord Sefton Stands

Stunning is the only word to describe these two identical stands, cutting edge landmarks near the entrance to the racecourse. Beneath the striking roof lies a complex of infinitely adaptable spaces catering for every function from small meetings up to 600 delegate conferences. Overlooking the racecourse the suites and meeting rooms, which were opened in 2007, combine up to the minute facilities with a real sense of drama and history. Contact us to Find Out More

Earl of Derby and Lord Sefton Boxes

Situated on the 5th floor of both Earl of Derby and Lord Sefton Boxes these facilities offer mirror images of one another - 3 double boxes in each stand or 6 single boxes accommodating upto 10 delegates in each box. These boxes enjoy full length views of the AintreCe racecourse which are all the more impressive with the elevated position they enjoy on the 5th floor.

Papillon and Corbiere Suites

Situated on the 3rd floor of these 2 new grandstands mirror images of each other with the Papillon in the Earl of Derby Stand and Corbiere in the Lord Sefton Stand with capacities of upto 300 delegates in each room interconnected by a short walk way. Making them the ideal venue to host a conference in one stand and then to provide catering for the delegates in the other stand. Impressive new venues with a modern feel.

Golden Miller and Sunloch Suites

Situated on the 1st floor of these 2 new grandstands - if you are looking for a room that guarantees a 'wow' factor with facilities for upto 600 delegates. As with the Papillon and Corbiere these rooms are interconnected by a short walk way. This makes them the ideal venues to host a conference in one stand and to provide refreshment/exhibition space in the other stand.

The Winners' Bar

Aintree's historic Old Weighing Room, surrounded by Grand National memorabilia, is undoubtedly one of the most charismatic and colourful venues that you are likely to find in the North West.  With the walls filled with tributes to Grand National legends and a traditional weighing scales still in place, it really is a unique wedding venue (Aintree also has a full civil ceremony license) and can also be the perfect spot to host a special private party. The facility can accomodate up to 100 people, and also boasts a charming exterior area under canopy, for barbeques and summer receptions.

Sefton Rooms

The traditional and well-appointed Sefton Rooms offer a truly elegant setting for hopsitality for up to 60 people. Overlooking the famous Grand National course itself, and home to many mementos of past Grand National successes, this intimate setting provides the ideal opportunity to entertain and be entertained.

Paddock Lodge

Paddock Lodge was the home of the original racecourse owners, the Topham family, and is now available to hire for those looking for a venue with some important Liverpool history and Grand National heritage attached to it.

Originally built in the late 19th Century, Paddock Lodge has more recently been lovingly restored whilst still retaining some of the features of the years gone by.

The many rooms that Paddock Lodge boasts means that the space is not only traditional but also versatile, as the rooms can be themed and used in many different ways to suit the needs of your event, be it a themed room for a party, or a more private space for a company meeting.

Overlooking the new parade ring and with private lawns, it is the perfect venue to hold that smaller, more intimate gathering, and is a particularly popular choice for small weddings or private birthday parties.
