Which day?

All three days of the John Smith’s Grand National meeting are exciting and are an opportunity to plan a great social day out with family, friends or work colleagues. For first-time racegoers to Aintree, you are about to witness something truly unique and three sporting days like no other.

Thursday 3rd April

Join us on the all important opening day of the meeting, and be one of the first to witness the top flight racing that the Grand National brings to Aintree. Coupled with an energetic atmosphere, this day has a real following all of its own.

Friday 4th April

Ladies’ Day at Aintree is a sight to behold, with energy and colour in all enclosures. Also the main day of Aintree’s famous Style Contest, make sure you head to the Red Rum Garden for a real style experience.

Saturday 5th April

Over 70,000 racegoers flock to Aintree on John Smith’s Grand National Day to celebrate this sporting institution. It’s an unmissable social occasion, and a crescendo to three magical days.

Which enclosure?

Where do you want to be when your fancied horse flashes past the Winning Post? Whether it’s in one of  our grandstands, on the roof or the terraces, or in the hub of the action of the Tattersalls enclosure, click on the links to find out more and see what tickets are available. Tickets and hospitality for all three days of the meeting are still available, so join us and take part in the excitement and energy of one of the world’s most famous sporting events in Liverpool, European Capital of Culture 2008.

Booking Deadlines

All orders placed after Friday 21st March will not be dispatched and must be collected from the racecourse.

Group Discounts

Book for you and your friends and receive:

  • 20% OFF all tickets for parties of 20+ on Thursday
  • 15% OFF Tattersalls parties of 30+ on Friday
  • 15% OFF Steeplechase and Tattersalls Enclosure for parties of 50+ on Saturday

Please note: Group discounts only available until Friday 8th February 2008.

Children

Accompanied children aged 16 and under are admitted free into the Tattersalls Enclosure on Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, there is a charge of £10 per child for admission into this enclosure. On Saturday, children are admitted free into the Steeplechase Enclosure. All other tickets and badges will be charged at full price.

Car Parking

A free park and ride service is operational for the Grand National meeting, which is signposted from the M57 motorway. There is limited parking at the racecourse, including disabled parking, please call 0151 522 2919 to purchase. A free limited mini-bus and coach park is available when group tickets are purchased in advance.

Smoke-free Aintree

All enclosed public areas at Aintree, including race-viewing seats, bars and restaurants are non-smoking. Designated smoking areas are provided.

Ticket touts and online auction websites

We can only guarantee tickets/badges, hospitality packages and car park labels purchased directly from the racecourse are genuine. Please protect yourself from fraud, theft and inflated ticket prices by only purchasing tickets directly from the racecourse.

Ticket delivery

A charge of £5 will be added to each order to cover the cost of postage and packaging [UK & overseas]. Tickets incurring this charge will be sent special delivery [in the UK only]. Alternatively tickets can be collected from the racecourse, please specify if you would prefer to do this when placing your order.

Lost/stolen tickets and badges

We regret that the racecourse cannot replace tickets/badges that are lost or stolen.
