Live Concerts and Music Nights in Liverpool

Everyone enjoys a summer social and there's nothing more sociable than an evening at the home of the John Smith's Grand National for a music and racing night.

This year witnessed three evenings of racing and music and previous acts for music nights at Aintree have included: Madness, Status Quo, McFly, Alexandra Burke, Aslan, The Stars from the Committments, Simon Webbe, Rebecca Ferguson, Tony Hadley, Peter Andre, Bjorn Again and Girls Aloud.

Aintree’s spring race evening series began on Friday 6th May (2011) with an Old Skool Disco themed party after racing, featuring Radio City DJ's and fancy dress getting racegoers ‘back into the old skool’ spirit!

Ladies’ Night, the second night of the summer series, witnessed Liverpool singing sensation, Rebecca Ferguson return to Liverpool to perform at the world famous course. Rebecca, who's stunning voice drove her with ease through to the live stages of the X-Factor final performed in Aintree's Equestrian Centre following racing, with some of her show-stopping performances that earned her a place in the final.

Closing the summer series, Spandau Ballet front man, Tony Hadleyn lit up the Red Rum Garden for an outdoor concert following racing with hits from the 80's, 90's and now.
