It’s time to plan for the biggest social event in the calendar, the 2010 John Smith’s Grand National; join us for the 163rd renewal of the world’s most famous race meeting at Aintree Racecourse from Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th April.

A Modest Choice

Our modest choice restaurants are located on the Parade Ring side of the racecourse and come complete with a grandstand viewing badge of your choice* for watching the racing, a Steeplechase car park label** and a reserved table for the duration of your visit.

Earth Summit Restaurant

The ideal setting for racegoers wanting to enjoy the John Smith’s Grand National meeting at a leisurely pace, Earth Summit offers all of the benefits of hospitality at a value for money price. Located to the rear of the County Stand, this package is inclusive of a grandstand badge of your choice*, a delicious buffet style lunch, live entertainment plus a light afternoon tea. Cloister Restaurant

Situated above Aintree’s Weighing Room, overlooking the Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure, enjoy a unique insight into the preparations and celebrations of each race whilst enjoying a fine dining experience. This package is inclusive of a grandstand badge of your choice*, an à la carte menu, afternoon tea, and a cash bar with waitress service. *Platinum County Lounge, Earl of Derby Stand and Lord Sefton Stand Seats are charged at an additional cost, subject to availability. **One per couple.
Table reservations within all restaurants of less than 10 persons [with the exception of Cloister] will be required to share tables. Should you have any specific access requirements, please call our Hospitality Line on 0151 522 2911 before making your choice.

Manifesto Restaurant

This marquee facility is expertly placed so that its viewing balcony overlooks the famous Grand National start. Manifesto offers a prime spot to capture all of the race action, teamed with all of the luxuries you would expect from a day’s hospitality at one of the UK’s most special events. Sunloch Restaurant (Lord Sefton Grandstand)

Located just past the winning post in one of Aintree’s newest grandstands, Sunloch offers views over the entire racecourse from its private balcony. This, coupled with excellent cuisine and live entertainment throughout the day, provides all of the excitement one would expect from the world’s most famous race meeting. Golden Miller Restaurant (Earl of Derby Grandstand)

One of Aintree’s most popular restaurants, Golden Miller is located on the first floor of the Earl of Derby Stand. With live entertainment and views from its own private balconies overlooking the racecourse and Parade Ring, this restaurant is a huge hit with our customers. Papillon Restaurant (Earl of Derby Grandstand)

One of the highest restaurants on the racecourse, this spectacular suite offers a birds-eye view over the entire Grand National course from its third floor location. You will be at the best vantage point to watch the races and receive exquisite hospitality, in addition to live entertainment, plus private balconies viewing both the racecourse and the buzz of the Parade Ring. Sefton Rooms (County Grandstand)

A truly elegant setting from which to capture the excitement of a day at Aintree, with its own exclusive low-level balcony situated directly opposite the winning post. Princess Royal Restaurant (Princess Royal Grandstand)

Additional information: All prices listed for inclusive restaurant packages are per person and are inclusive of VAT. Restaurant reservations are made on a first come, first served basis and although we are unable to guarantee specific table allocation in advance, we will endeavour to accommodate special requests where possible. Table reservations within all restaurants of less than 10 persons [with the exception of Cloister] will be required to share tables.

Please note, there is no booking fee for bookings made online, but a £2 booking fee is applicable to all bookings made at the racecourse or on our Booking Line (0844 579 3001).
