Becher Chase Grand National Trials Day returns to a Saturday slot in Aintree’s calendar in 2011 for what will be Aintree’s final race meeting before the Grand National and no doubt become a major highlight in the Liverpool festive build-up in years to come.
With two races over the Grand National course on this day, the Becher Chase and the Grand Sefton are likely to provide an early indication as to the entries for the showcase event itself, the John Smith’s Grand National, when they open in January.
With general admission tickets offering access to comfortable bars and lounges from which to enjoy the races and shelter from any raceday elements, this day offers something for everyone. Whether celebrating Christmas with family and friends before heading for a Saturday night out, or a leisurely afternoon in jeans and warm clothing. What’s more all of Aintree’s autumn fixtures give free admission to children aged 17 and under and a Father Christmas Grotto.
