Official Grand National Fences Guide

The Grand National course flyover is your official guide to the fences at Aintree Racecourse. The world-famous steeplechase course is made up of sixteen fences, and horse and jockey must clear all except two of of these (The Chair and the Water Jump) twice during two circuits of the National course. The race is widely acknowledged as the ultimate test of horse and jockey and certain fences on the course have become household names: Becher's Brook, Valentine's Brook, the Canal Turn.
