Car parking
There is limited car parking for a fee at the racecourse. The easiest way of reaching Aintree is by rail, with Aintree Station directly opposite the racecourse. Limited on-course parking is available for the Grand National meeting and costs £10 for Steeplechase parking, with the nearest car park, County car park, starting at £22. This can be booked by calling our Booking Line on 0844 579 3001.
Other than Steeplechase and County Car Parking, there is no other car parking in and around Aintree Racecourse. Buses, taxis, private hire and trains all operate to Aintree and special arrangements have been made for them. Please note there is no Park and Ride service for 2010.
A new, dedicated bus service will operate between Liverpool City Centre and Aintree Racecourse each morning to allow racegoers a seamless journey to the racecourse. The return service from the Racecourse back to the City Centre will have additional capacity and will drop racegoers back in the heart of the city centre, close to hotels, rail links and public transport, or, to continue your celebrations. Fares and directions to the city centre bus terminus will be posted soon.
If you have pre-bought Racecourse Car Parking, please follow the directions on the back of your car park label, and the appropriate temporary traffic signage. With the exception of County Car Park labels, please do not use satellite navigation systems (to the racecourse postcode) as this will take you to the ‘wrong’ side of the racecourse.
