Irish Night featuring Aslan - Friday 7th May 2010

Aintree’s first meeting following the John Smith’s Grand National meeting in April is Irish Night.

Celebrating the city’s Irish heritage and culture, Aintree has secured the headline services of ‘Aslan’ who will entertain racegoers following racing.

Aslan emerged from Dublin’s Northside in the mid 1980s, releasing a demo single ‘This is’ in the Spring of 1986, which was a huge hit and became the longest ever play-listed single on Ireland's pop radio station, RTE 2fm.

Tickets for all evenings in the summer series are now available to purchase online by clicking here or in person from the racecourse, or by telephone on 0844 579 3001, with tickets for all three nights costing just £16 if purchased up to 48 hours before the event (tickets purchased after this time or on the night itself will cost £19). Tickets allow access to all public areas, as well as the viewing of the parade ring and winner’s enclosure. Child tickets for children aged 10-16 (accompanied by an adult) cost £12, children aged under 10 go free.

New for 2010, Platinum County Lounge Tickets will be available to purchase for the Summer Series. These tickets cost £25 and include access to the exclusive Platinum County Lounge with County Grandstand seats, a complimentary racecard and vouchers for discounted house champagne. This area will be exclusive to Platinum County Lounge ticket holders, and is for over 21s only.

Great deals on hospitality are also available from £83.
