Style Winner on the hunt for most Fashionable Filly at Aintree's Ladies' Night

The winner of Aintree’s coveted Style 2010 competition at the John Smith’s Grand National meeting, Sophie Fairclough, will be back at Aintree on Ladies’ Night this Friday to judge Aintree’s latest style competition, ‘Fashion Filly’, in association with Matalan. 

Sophie will be joining a panel of fashions finest, including Matalan’s Head of Design, Liz Wilson to pick out the most stylish racegoers on the evening and reward one lucky racegoer with an array of amazing prizes including a luxury spa break for four people at Formby Hall, £250 worth of Matalan gift vouchers and a bag of Benefit goodies. The competition features on an evening that will see pop sensation Alexandra Burke take to the stage to perform after racing.

Matalan will be on hand to inspire Aintree’s racegoers on the evening with their Sex and the City themed fashion shows, whilst makeovers from Benefit and pampering tips from Formby Hall Spa will complete the ultimate Ladies’ Night experience.

The first of six races starts at 5.30pm, with the evening concluding with a live 30-minute performance by Alexandra Burke, including exclusive tracks from her new album, and her new single ‘All Night Long’.

Ladies’ Night features as part of Aintree’s Spring racing and music series, which closes on Friday 11th June, with a Bjorn Again show after racing.

Tickets for both nights are still available from the racecourse booking office and online at aintree.co.uk.  Advanced tickets cost just £16 for adults. Tickets allow access to unreserved seats, and viewing of the parade ring and winner’s enclosure.
