John Smith's Sweeps the Board at the Sponsorship Oscars
John Smith’s sponsorship of the Grand National picked up three prizes at the 2010 Hollis Awards on Tuesday night at the London Marriot Grosvenor Square.
The John Smith’s Grand National won all 3 categories entered, being voted Sponsorship of the Year as well as taking home the Brand Sponsorship and the Sponsorship Continuity awards.
Created in the early 1990s, the Hollis Awards reward excellence across all sectors of the sponsorship industry, looking at the relevance of the campaigns, how they deliver against commercial objectives and the creative thinking involved. The Awards are judged by 22 leading industry figures who put each entry through rigorous examination during the two-stage judging process.
These 3 awards demonstrate the great success of the first 5 years of the John Smith’s Grand National and we now look forward to April 2010 and the next 3 years of the World’s best-known Steeple Chase.
