23.07.09 - THE GRAND NATIONAL

2010 John Smith's Grand National packages exclusively previewed online

Aintree Racecourse today announced that tickets and hospitality packages for the 2010 John Smith’s Grand National meeting, which takes place from 8th – 10th April, are now exclusively available to view online at aintree.co.uk, ahead of going on sale next month (August).

The course also revealed an exclusive Becher Chase Day ticket offer for early bookers of Grand National tickets. Racegoers who book their Grand National tickets before Wednesday 30th September will receive two complimentary tickets to Aintree’s Becher Chase Day on Sunday 22nd November 2010, which features racing over Grand National fences ahead of the famous meeting itself.

Season Tickets, three-day badges and hospitality packages will be the first to go on sale from 9am on Tuesday 4th August.  Racegoers wishing to purchase season tickets and three-day grandstand badges should contact the ticket hotline on 0844 579 3001, with hospitality being available to purchase by calling 0151 522 2911.  Season Tickets give racegoers a priority chance to secure grandstand badges for all three-days of the Grand National meeting in addition to providing admission to 6 additional racedays at Aintree in 2010 for just £48.

All remaining tickets and badges, including grandstand seats, will go on general sale via aintree.co.uk (where no booking fee applies) from 7am on Tuesday 18th August and two hours later, at 9am, through the ticket sales hotline, 0844 579 3001.

Customers wishing to purchase tickets and badges in person from the racecourse can do so by visiting the booking office from Tuesday 1st September, which will be open during sales office hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Looking forward to the countdown to the 2010 festival meeting, Managing Director of Aintree Racecourse, Julian Thick, commented, ‘It is a very exciting time at the racecourse as we put the finishing touches to our packages for what will be the biggest three days in the social calendar in 2010.  As experienced in previous years, we expect all packages to be in great demand and therefore continue to advise customers to purchase from the racecourse as early as possible to avoid disappointment.’
