And they're off! All 2012 John Smith's Grand National tickets and grandstand badges on-sale from tomorrow morning

All tickets and badges for the 2012 John Smith’s Grand National meeting will be available to purchase online at aintree.co.uk from 9am tomorrow (Tuesday 16th August).
 
Customers wishing to attend the  2012 renewal of the world famous race meeting, which will return to the Liverpool course from Thursday 12th – Saturday 14th April 2012, will also be available to be purchase tickets and badges by telephone from Wednesday 17th August by calling the ticket booking line on 0844 579 3001.
 
Hospitality, season tickets and two-day grandstand badges were the first packages to go on sale at the beginning of August, with the racecourse already experiencing great demand for packages as one hospitality area and a grandstand area have sold out in the first two weeks of being on-sale.
 
A record-number of racegoers attended the three-day meeting in 2011, with attendances up on each day and John Smith’s Grand National day itself selling out prior to the event. The prestigious race meeting also scooped the Tourism Event of the Year Award at The Mersey Partnership Tourism Awards.
 
Aintree Racecourse Marketing and PR Manager, Emma Owen, commented: ‘We’re delighted that the countdown to next year’s three day festival has already started. By going on-sale for April now, racegoers have even more time to prepare for the event of the year. As we have already sold out in some areas, we expect all packages to be in great demand so therefore continue to advise customers to purchase early to avoid disappointment.’
