And they're off! 2012 John Smith's Grand National on-sale from tomorrow morning
Aintree Racecourse has unveiled ticket and hospitality packages online at aintree.co.uk ahead of going on sale with hospitality, season tickets and two-day grandstand badges for the 2012 John Smith’s Grand National at 9am tomorrow morning.
Hospitality packages will be available to purchase online or by telephone (0151 522 2911) from 9am tomorrow (Tuesday 2nd August). Season ticket customers and customers purchasing a minimum of a two-day grandstand ticket will also be available to purchase badges tomorrow by calling 0844 579 3001.
All remaining tickets and badges, including Tattersalls tickets, will go on general sale from 9am on Tuesday 16th August on aintree.co.uk, and from Wednesday 17th August by telephone, 0844 579 3001.
Racegoers are now able to view a greater selection of images for each specific grandstand and hospitality area online at aintree.co.uk, giving customers a greater insight into where they could be spending their day at the John Smith’s Grand National next April.
A record-number of racegoers attended the three-day meeting in 2011, with attendances up on each day and John Smith’s Grand National day itself selling out prior to the event. The prestigious race meeting, which scooped the Tourism Event of the Year Award at The Mersey Partnership Tourism Awards, returns to the famous Liverpool course from Thursday 12th to Saturday 14th April 2012.
Aintree Racecourse Marketing and PR Manager, Emma Owen, commented: ‘We’re delighted that the countdown to next year’s three day festival has already started.. By going on-sale for April now, racegoers have even more time to prepare for the event of the year. As experienced in previous years, we expect all packages to be in great demand so therefore continue to advise customers to purchase early to avoid disappointment.’
