05.05.10 - RACING AT AINTREE

Alexandra Burke to meet four lucky Aintree racegoers on Ladies Night

One lucky racegoer and three friends will get the chance of a lifetime to meet Alexandra Burke in person at Aintree’s Ladies’ Night on Friday 14th May, the second night in Aintree’s spring racing and music series, which opens this Friday with Irish Night.

Racegoers purchasing their tickets in advance of the race night will automatically be entered into the competition to win the exclusive meet and greet on Ladies’ Night, which Alexandra will be headlining.  The winner will be picked at random when the competition closes on Wednesday 12th May and the lucky person chosen will have the opportunity to have autographs signed and have their picture taken with Alexandra during her visit to Aintree.

The full line-up in Aintree’s spring racing and music series will see Irish Night at the racecourse this Friday, when legendary Irish group Aslan will take to the stage after racing. Björn Again will draw the season to a close on Friday 11th June, when the show will perform for a full 90-minutes after racing.

Tickets for all events are still available from the racecourse booking office and online at aintree.co.uk.  Advanced booking rates start from just £16 for adults. Tickets allow access to unreserved seats, and viewing of the parade ring and winner’s enclosure. Child tickets for children aged 10-16 (accompanied by an adult) cost £12, accompanied children aged 9 and under go free.  To make a booking, visit aintree.co.uk or telephone 0844 579 3001. Great deals on hospitality are also available from £83, call 0151 522 2911 for further details.

Marketing and PR Manager, Emma Owen, commented, ‘Alexandra Burke is the perfect act for Ladies’ Night, and we’re delighted to be able to give one lucky racegoer and three friends the chance to meet the star in person. Tickets are selling quickly so we’re recommending that racegoers should book early to avoid disappointment.’
